Diana Amanyire

A passionate champion for equitable health systems, Diana Namata Amanyire brings together deep expertise in global health, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and inclusive programming with the grounded perspective of a frontline nurse and public health practitioner. With more than 15 years of experience across Sub‑Saharan Africa, she is known for translating complex global frameworks into practical, evidence‑based solutions that strengthen systems and transform lives.

Diana’s work is rooted in collaboration and community voice. She partners with governments, NGOs, and youth‑led networks to design adolescent‑responsive interventions, embed rights‑based approaches into health systems, and expand fair access to essential services. Her leadership is defined by an ability to build capacity, shape advocacy agendas, and mentor emerging leaders to challenge stigma and drive meaningful, lasting change.

Her influence spans SRHR, research, community engagement, social and behavioural change, disability inclusion, migration health, key‑population programming, and gender‑transformative approaches. Innovation and integrity guide her approach, ensuring that underserved populations remain at the centre of every solution.
